Move beyond counts of coverage. Link communication objectives to outputs, audience response and outcomes without claiming that one caused the next.

For communication and reputation teams that need a reporting structure grounded in evidence, limitations and a clearly stated decision.
The launch framework keeps outputs, outtakes and outcomes on separate lines. Its example is illustrative; no campaign evaluation or practitioner review occurred.
Write the audience decision and desired understanding before selecting a metric. Use the cornerstone framework to classify activity, output, audience response and outcome. For each evidence line, record its source, period, baseline, limitations and the decision it informs. Look for contradictory evidence and plausible alternative explanations rather than forcing every measure into one positive narrative.
Coverage volume cannot establish audience understanding or organisational outcome. Surveys, platform metrics and business indicators each have distinct sampling and attribution limits.
